01 / INFORMATION ON FILE
We collect account details, profile information you choose to provide, RSVPs and acceptance records, messages and reactions, notification preferences, and basic device and security logs.
02 / WHY WE USE IT
We use this information to authenticate members, operate RSVPs and the directory, deliver club communications, moderate community spaces, protect the room, and comply with legal obligations.
03 / THE DIRECTORY
Your member profile appears only when you opt in. You control whether social details are shown. Your private account email and phone number are not displayed to other members.
04 / COMMUNITY & INSTAGRAM
The Bullpen Chat is the club’s private on-site conversation. Instagram is a separate service with its own privacy practices. Do not post another member’s identity, image, or messages outside the club without permission.
05 / SHARING
We do not sell personal information. Organizers and moderators receive the information needed to run events and protect members. Hosting, authentication, maps, messaging, and other service providers process limited information on our behalf.
06 / RETENTION
We keep account information while your account is active. We may retain de-identified agreement, safety, incident, and audit records when reasonably necessary or required by law.
07 / YOUR CONTROLS
You may update your profile, leave the directory, export your data, or delete your account from Settings. For access, correction, a photo-removal request, or help deleting data, email hello@boardmeetingnyc.com.
08 / SECURITY & COOKIES
We use reasonable safeguards and only cookies or local storage needed for sign-in, preferences, and site operation. No system can guarantee absolute security.
09 / UPDATES
We may revise this policy as the club changes. The current version and effective date will remain on this page. New York law applies where permitted.
